In order to achieve this, Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero) is currently exploring cooperation with the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI). “In supporting PTPN’s business transformation process, a good archive management system is needed by utilizing current technological facilities,” said Director of Institutional Relations of Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero), M. Arifin Firdaus, during an audience at the ANRI office, Tuesday (13/06/2023).
Arifin also emphasized the importance of ANRI’s support and cooperation in building an orderly and structured company archive management system, as well as increasing the competence of PTPN Group’s human resources (HR) in managing archives. “Hopefully, with the synergy between PTPN III (Persero) and ANRI, it can provide benefits for both parties, and support the preservation of state-owned archives,” he said.
Head of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI), Imam Gunarto, welcomed the meeting and the plan of PTPN III (Persero) as the parent holding in the plantation and forestry cluster, to synergize regarding this archive. “Surely the cooperation between PTPN Group and ANRI in developing PTPN’s archive management system will support PTPN’s current business transformation process,” said Imam.
From the meeting, PTPN III (Persero) and ANRI agreed to follow up by making a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which will be signed together. “Both parties will conduct further discussions through the implementation of Focus Group Discussion (FGD),” added Imam.
Also attending the meeting were PTPN III (Persero) Head of Institutional Relations and TJSL Ridho Syahputra Manurung, and ANRI Director of Services and Utilization Eli Ruliawati.
