PPID Profile

Information is a basic need for everyone for self and social development, it is also an important part of national security. The right to obtain information is a human right. Openness of public information is one of the important characteristics of a democratic country that upholds people’s sovereignty which basically aims to realize good corporate governance. Good public information management is one of the efforts to develop an information society.

In practice, the PPID or Documentation Information Management Officer is the official responsible for storing, documenting, providing and/or providing information services in Nusantara PTPN III (Persero) regulated based on the Public Information Disclosure Charter. The Public Information Disclosure Charter) including the stipulation regarding the Organizational Structure and Responsibilities of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Information and Documentation Management Officers was ratified by the Management of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) in May 2019.

Duties, Functions and Authorities

PPID Duties, Functions and Authorities

Establish the responsibilities of each PPID structure as follows:
Information Management and Documentation Officer (PPID) is responsible for :

  1. Provision of information that is closed;
  2. Test the consequences of closed information;
  3. Availability of information through various means of information;
  4. Availability of information service reports at the end of each year

Main PPID is the Head of Corporate Secretary Division.

PPID Assistants are General Managers, Heads of Divisions other than Heads of Corporate Secretary Divisions, Heads of Division other than Heads of Corporate Secretary Bureaus, Managers, and Heads of Units within PTPN III (Persero).
Assistant PPID is responsible for:

  1. Preparation of Work Unit information;
  2. Availability of periodic and annual reports;
  3. Availability of information through various means of information;
  4. Obligation to publish information if there is information that threatens the lives of many people and public order;
  5. Submission of written responses to each request for public information.

PPI is an official or because of his position appointed to assist PPID Information Service Officer (PPI) is responsible in terms of :

  1. Recording of requests for PPID information;
  2. Services for applicants for PPID information;
  3. Accurate submission of requests for information to superiors

Main PPID is responsible for:

  1. PTPN III (Persero) information preparation;
  2. Availability of periodic and annual reports;
  3. Information through various means of information;
  4. Obligation to publish information if there is information that threatens the lives of many people and public order;
  5. Submission of written responses to each request for public information;
  6. Submission of closed public information.
