Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero) considers corruption to be an extraordinary crime with a large impact on society and the state. As a result, the Company supports the government’s commitment to eradicating corruption through various agencies such as the prosecutor’s office, police, and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

In maintaining the anti-corruption spirit, the Company has implemented a gratification control policy. The gratification control policy is intended to serve as a guide for Company personnel in taking a firm stance, understanding the importance of reporting compliance, and dealing with gratification practices in the Company.

With regard to support for anti-corruption, PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) has conducted mapping and assessment of risks in the chain and business operations with high potential for corruption, namely through fraud risk identification and fraud risk monitoring/management on a quarterly basis. To prevent corruption, the Company has implemented a Management System Policy which prohibits the practice of accepting or giving bribes and does not tolerate bribery and implements SNI ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System.

Another policy to support the anti-corruption commitment is that the Company disseminates anti-corruption policies and procedures adopted by PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero). As of December 2022, all members of the Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors have received anti-corruption socialization and procedures. Meanwhile, all employees have also received information on anti-corruption policies and procedures through PTPN’s code of conduct.

Various efforts and activities organized by the Company related to anti-corruption behavior and commitments have resulted in no proven incidents of corruption during 2022. Thus, there were no reports of employees or management of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) being fired, dismissed or punished for implicated in a corruption case. In line with that, there were also no reports of partners or vendors whose contracts were terminated or not renewed due to corruption cases.
