Jakarta, February 27, 2025 – In order to commemorate National Nutrition Day which falls on February 27, 2025, Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero) implemented the PTPN Nutrition Care Program, namely nutrition education for children and increasing food security at the household level. The activity with the theme “Together Realizing Healthy and Smart Children” was held at the Attarbiyatuddiniyah Elementary School (MI), Ciracas, East Jakarta on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. In this activity, 285 children received health checks and nutritious food packages. In addition, 75 parents and 20 teachers attended an education session on balanced nutritional intake for children.
This program is part of the PTPN Sehat Program which supports the social pillar of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). The program aims to increase public awareness of the importance of balanced nutrition and provide sustainable protein sources for families.
PTPN believes that adequate and balanced nutritional intake plays an important role in children’s growth and development, both in terms of cognitive, physical, and immune system. “A healthy diet is still a challenge for many families, especially due to the lack of understanding of parents and limited access to nutritious food,” said Corporate Secretary of Holding Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN III (Persero), Misran. “To answer this challenge, PTPN III is holding the PTPN Sehat-PTPN Nutrition Care Program,” Misran continued.
This program also presents medical personnel and nutritionists who provide insight into healthy eating patterns, as well as practical tips in preparing nutritious menus for families.

Misran further emphasized that the company is committed to supporting the health of Indonesian children. The company believes that investing in children’s nutrition is an investment in the future of the nation. “This program is part of our commitment to ensure that children have access to healthy food and proper nutrition education. With the education provided, we hope that the community will be more aware of the importance of balanced nutrition in everyday life,” he said.
The Principal of MI Attarbiyatuddiniyah, Masbuqotun, S.Pd.I, appreciated this program. “This program provides great benefits for students and parents in understanding the importance of a healthy diet.
