The 2023 Best Green Business award plaque was received by PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Corporate Secretary Bambang Agustian from Moeldoko, Chairman of the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association (Periklindo) and Chief of Staff of the Indonesian presidency, at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta, Monday (22/5/2023) at the Green Economic Forum 2023 event held by CNBC Indonesia. “This achievement is an appreciation for PT Perkebunan Nusantara and consistently needs to continue to be instilled in all Perkebunan Nusantara people. We systematically carry out energy efficiency, waste management, nature protection and corporate social responsibility,” said Bambang Agustian.
According to Muhammad Reza Ilham Taufani, Lead Researcher for the Green Business Ratings 2023 program, “The ratings are conducted using quantitative and qualitative methods with a primary focus on environmental aspects. For example, accompanied by a positive impact on reducing carbon emissions.” And the results of the ranking, in terms of sustainability aspects, such as energy efficiency, waste management, nature protection, corporate social responsibility, financing, PTPN or PT Perkebunan Nusantara III is one of the eight best Green Business companies in 2023.
This ranking also provides guidance and information for stakeholders, such as investors, consumers, and the general public, to make sustainable decisions.
