PTPN supports to protect human rights in accordance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UNHRD), the International Labor Organization (“ILO”), the Core Convention on Labor Standards, ILO Convention 169 concerning indigenous and tribal peoples, and applicable laws . This commitment and the principles of employment and human rights related to national and international employment are then used as the basis for PTPN’s Human Rights Policy, which is then reduced to standards and procedures for the implementation of each related topic. PTPN also has policies related to Human Rights policies which also contain policies related to vulnerable groups.

Employees receive special attention from PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) as a very important asset with a highly strategic position, both in terms of competency development, welfare level, salary, career path, etc. The Human Resources (HR) Division manages employees in the organization through policies and strategic planning based on the demands of the organization and advancements in the business environment.
